I started my journey in home care back in 2013, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting hundreds of clients through a variety of roles and agencies. It’s been a path full of learning curves, personal growth, and so many rewarding moments.

Working closely with individuals and families from all walks of life taught me the importance of compassion, flexibility, and truly listening to each person’s unique needs. That’s what inspired me to start AngelGuard Home Support—so I could create a service that feels personal, dependable, and genuinely caring.

Every client we support is treated with the same kindness and respect I would want for my own family. I’m so proud of the team we’ve built and excited for the journey ahead.

Meet Sameera Safdari

Registered Nurse & Care Coordinator

Hi, I’m Sameera! I began my healthcare journey with a Diploma of Nursing and spent two years working in a hospital setting, where I gained valuable clinical experience and built a strong foundation in patient care. I then completed my Bachelor of Nursing and recently wrapped up my new graduate program.

Although I’m new to the home care scene—with just over six months of experience—I bring my clinical background from the hospital setting to add depth and support to our team. Since joining AngelGuard, I’ve grown so much, both professionally and personally, and I’ve come to truly enjoy the one-on-one connections that home care offers.

I’m passionate about delivering safe, compassionate, and meaningful care, and I look forward to continuing to grow alongside the amazing team here.

Meet Elyass Safdari

Co-Founder & Support Worker

Hi, I’m Elyass! I’ve always had a passion for supporting people in their daily lives, which led me to pursue a Certificate III in Nursing while still in high school. Since then, I’ve spent many years working directly with clients in home care and support roles, learning from every interaction and growing my skills.

Currently, I’m in my second year of a Bachelor of Nursing, continuing to expand my knowledge and expertise in healthcare. In addition to providing hands-on care for our clients, I also handle the administrative side of the business, including invoicing and business operations. I’m excited to combine my clinical education with real-world experience to help build a supportive, compassionate environment for both our clients and our team.

Meet Abrahim Safdari

Support Worker, Enrolled Nurse & Lifestyle Coordinator

Hi, I’m Abrahim! My journey into nursing began with a Certificate III in Nursing, and I started out as a support worker, gaining hands-on experience and learning from each client I worked with. After furthering my education, I graduated as an Enrolled Nurse, and now I’m able to combine both clinical care and lifestyle support in my role.

I’m passionate about helping our clients stay active and lead healthier lifestyles. As a Lifestyle Coordinator, I work closely with our clients to encourage physical activity and organize engaging social events to keep everyone connected and motivated. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see clients thrive by incorporating these positive changes into their routines.

Meet Irena Emvme

Recruitment Officer, Compliance Officer & Support Worker

Hi, I’m Irena! Nursing has been my lifelong passion, and I’ve had the privilege of working in various settings, including aged care, home care, and clinical care. Over the years, I’ve specialized in Alzheimer's disease, gaining extensive experience in providing care for those living with this condition. I’m deeply committed to expanding my scope of practice to ensure the best possible care for our clients.

In addition to my clinical role, I also manage recruitment and compliance for AngelGuard. Ensuring we have the right team in place and that our services meet the highest standards is something I take great pride in. I also continue to work as a support worker, providing hands-on care and making sure our clients feel comfortable, respected, and supported every day.
